What's included

Specified for how the room actually gets used

A kitchen is a working room before it is a showpiece. Storage, worktop runs and lighting decide whether you enjoy it in five years.

Custom Cabinetry

Cabinets built and fitted to your walls, so you are not filling awkward gaps with trim and hoping.

Countertops

Quartz, granite and solid surface templated and installed with proper support and clean joints.

Layout & Flow

Work triangle, appliance placement and circulation reworked before anything gets ordered.

Splashbacks & Tiling

Tile and slab splashbacks set out so cuts land where they are least visible.

Task & Feature Lighting

Under-cabinet, island pendant and ceiling lighting planned as one scheme, not added afterwards.

Storage Solutions

Drawer stacks, pull-outs, pantry fittings and corner solutions that use the whole cabinet.

Cabinet Refinishing

Sound existing carcasses degreased, sanded and refinished where a full replacement is not justified.

Finish Carpentry

Cornice, plinths, panelling and trim detailed so the fitted units read as built in.

Coastal kitchens work harder than most

Humidity moves timber. In a Charleston kitchen that shows up as doors going out of alignment, painted finishes lifting at the joints, and cabinet boxes swelling where a dishwasher vents against them.

We specify for it — moisture-tolerant carcass materials, finishes that cope with the swing, and proper ventilation detailing behind appliances, so the kitchen still closes correctly a few summers from now.

The worktop decision people ask about most

Worktop choice drives a surprising amount of the budget and nearly all of the day-to-day experience. Here is the short version of the trade-offs.

Quartz Engineered, non-porous and consistent. No sealing, and the most forgiving in a busy family kitchen.
Granite Natural stone with real variation. Needs periodic sealing but handles heat extremely well.
Solid Surface Seamless joints and repairable if damaged. Softer, so it marks more easily than stone.
Timber & Butcher Block Warm and repairable by sanding. Needs oiling and does not belong next to a sink without care.

FAQs

Kitchen remodeling questions we get asked

Typically six to ten weeks from strip-out to completion, depending on scope and lead times on cabinetry and stone. You get the programme before we start.
If the carcasses are sound, refinishing doors and boxes is a genuine option and costs a fraction of replacement. We will tell you honestly whether yours are worth keeping.
Either. We can supply and fit, or install cabinetry you have specified yourself — just tell us early so the programme accounts for lead times.
For most busy family kitchens, quartz. It needs no sealing and takes daily use well. Granite is the pick if you want natural variation and handle heat a lot.
Yes, coordinated as part of the programme through licensed trades, including inspections where the work requires them.
Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry — including Charleston Downtown, Mount Pleasant, James Island, Johns Island and Seabrook Island.
